Body Basics Classes
Medium to lower-intensity women’s fitness classes focusing on strength-based functional movements that emphasize the arms, core and legs.
Functional fitness training is the cornerstone of the Body Basics classes. Using your own body weight and our hydraulic resistance machines, this low impact strength training workout is a great starting point for any level of fitness.
This class will help strengthen all your major muscle groups, without causing stress to your body or joints. Many of these movements will mimic the movements you perform every day, which will help you have the strength and energy you need to do the things you love and live your best life.
Strengthen Your Core
A strong core helps you maintain good posture, look confident and improves your balance, making everyday life easier.
Build a Strong Foundation
Strong legs help support your knees and take stress off your joints, enabling you to power up a flight of stairs, go for a hike etc.
Tone Your Arms
Stronger upper body with toned arms will also help you to lift and carry heavy objects with ease, reducing potential for injury.
Total Body Workout
This 30-minute circuit workout will help increase your strength and range of motion across every major muscle group in your body.
Balance Classes
Lower-intensity balance classes are designed to help improve stability and create a strong core, using traditional yoga movements and poses.
Balance is such an important part of functional fitness and strength training. It is what allows you to climb stairs without holding onto a railing or walk-in uneven surfaces like sand. Our hydraulic resistance machines help build muscle strength across your arms, legs and core, while single-legged balance moves will help to increase coordination, reaction time and balance.
Our Balance class is one of four specialty workout classes for women, that is low impact and designed to help you improve your stability, which helps prevent falls and injury. More importantly, it gives you the confidence to do the things you love.
Get Better Posture
Good posture is the foundation for mobility and balance, our class focuses on movements that strengthen and improve your posture and reduce back pain.
Practice Mindfulness
Focusing on holding a yoga or balance pose can be meditative, allowing you to focus on your breath and calm the mind during your workout.
Improve Your Stability
This women’s fitness class incorporates static poses in between machine exercises to help improve your stability and prevent falls.
Enhance Your Flexibility
This class will enhance functional balance. This, when combined with stretching, helps to increase your flexibility, joint mobility and range of motion.
Cardio Classes
Higher-intensity cardio classes that incorporate all facets of fitness, including strength training, cardio, speed, power, flexibility, coordination and agility.
This is a higher intensity aerobics class designed to get your heart pumping. Our cardio class for women combines strength training on our hydraulic gym machines to build muscle as well as body weight-based, functional movements. Several factors can show how fit we are in terms of our cardiovascular ability, including our heart rate and breathing while exercising. Cardio interval training can help strengthen your heart and improve your circulatory system.
While the class is designed to make you sweat, the Curves circuit is a non-judgemental environment where you can get a full-body workout no matter your fitness level. With the support of a Curves Coach and a community of women, you can achieve anything!

Explosive cardio moves such as sprints on the spot will help to increase your cardiovascular endurance.
Better Speed & Agility
Agility movements such as speed skaters will help you move faster and increase your overall coordination.
Improve Your Strength
This class also includes functional fitness movements like push-ups and lunges geared to increase your strength.
Burn More Calories
A cardio fitness class will increase your heart rate, make you sweat and burn calories both during and long after your workout.
Boxing Classes
Higher-intensity women’s boxing classes combine cardio, strength, coordination and balance by utilizing traditional boxing moves.
Our boxing classes for women offer a total-body workout including cardiovascular conditioning by incorporating boxing movements that focus on speed, intensity and agility. These boxing moves will engage your arms, core and legs, strengthening your whole body and improving your coordination.
The class is paired with the Curves hydraulic resistance machines, which are designed to create resistance that intensifies with effort – making our boxing classes perfect for all levels of fitness. Plus, you’ll be equipped with our experienced Curves Coaches, who will be with you every step of the way.
